An event built to the millimeter from concept to experience.

When NEST Centro de Inovação do Turismo challenged us to conceptualize and produce BOOST 2026, the goal was clear: to create a landmark moment for the tourism industry in Portugal a space where innovation, creativity and strategy would converge into a truly unique experience.

We didn’t simply organize an event. We designed an ecosystem. From the conceptual vision to the final immersive experience, every detail was crafted to place the 500+ professionals in attendance at the heart of a conversation that matters: the future of Portuguese tourism.

Five dimensions of work. One cohesive experience.

Strategy & Concept

Working alongside the NEST team, we defined the event’s conceptual vision: thematic pillars, panel structure, and the participant journey from start to finish. Strategy wasn’t a document it was the backbone of everything that followed.

Speaker Curation

We scheduled and coordinated over 30 national and international speakers David Rowan, Bugge Holm Hansen, Alessandra Priante, Sérgio Guerreiro, Adelaide Ginga, Madalena Reis, Eduardo Moraes Sarmento, Jaime Costa, and many other influential voices from the global tourism industry.

Agenda & Programming

We structured 9 hours of programming with keynotes, thematic panels, workshops, and pitches. Timing, flows, transitions: every minute was designed to sustain energy, focus, and impact throughout the entire day.

Space Transformation

Each zone was conceived with purpose: the Auditorium, the Learning Room, the Innovation Café, and the circulation areas. Signage, atmosphere, and visual identity were integrated into a coherent spatial experience from beginning to end.

360º Immersive Experience

The most singular piece of the event: an audiovisual and multimedia installation inside Álvaro Siza Vieira’s iconic Pavilhão de Portugal a journey through Portugal’s tourism imagination, from the 1940s to the present day.

A journey through time, inside the Pavilhão de Portugal.

With the curation of Maria João Silveira Gomes from the Centro de Documentação do Turismo de Portugal, we gained access to the historical archive of Portugal’s national tourism advertising campaigns. The result was an unprecedented 360º immersive experience cutting-edge technology in service of memory and identity.

Through exclusive audiovisual and multimedia production, we created the concept and creative direction for a historical showcase of the Turismo de Portugal campaign collection. An installation you don’t just see you feel.

“To conceptualize means placing creativity at the heart of strategy. BOOST 2026 was proof that innovation and emotion can and should coexist in the same space.”

Transforming Spaces

A space is not just where an event happens. It’s where the message takes shape.

At Making, we believe the physical environment is a direct extension of a brand’s identity. Every surface, every beam of light, every décor detail communicates before any speaker takes the stage or any product is presented.

From material selection to the composition of each zone, we develop environments with aesthetic coherence and strategic intent. Conferences that convey authority. Brand spaces that translate values into atmosphere. Every element is chosen to reinforce the narrative never to fill space.

Voices that move the industry

Speaker curation was a strategic process: we wanted global perspectives, diverse experiences, and conversations that would last. Over 30 national and international tourism industry leaders and experts shared the stage at BOOST 2026.

Among the confirmed speakers:

David Rowan, Bugge Holm Hansen, Alessandra Priante, Sergio Guerreiro, Adelaide Ginga, David Vidal, Jaime Costa and many more.

Beyond the event: communication that sustains the impact

An event of this scale doesn’t only happen on the day. It happens before, during, and after and communication is what ensures the message reaches the right people, with the weight it deserves.

At BOOST 2026, Making was also responsible for building the event’s communications presence, ensuring consistency and quality across every touchpoint:

Visual Identity
We created the event’s visual system: logo, palette, typography, and graphic language, ensuring that the BOOST 2026 identity was recognizable and consistent across all physical and digital formats.

Website & Digital Platform
We developed and maintained the event’s online presence: information architecture, page design, and SEO-optimized content, so that BOOST 2026 could be found, understood, and shared.

Social Media
We managed social media communications before, during, and after the event: content creation, editorial calendar, graphics, and copywriting aligned with NEST’s identity and objectives.

Banners & Press Materials
We produced graphic materials for external media communications: digital banners, pieces for industry publications, and assets adapted to different formats and platforms.

Media Kit
We developed the event’s media kit: a reference document for journalists, partners, and sponsors, presenting all relevant information in a clear, professional, and visually appealing way.

Sponsorships
Based on the event’s objectives, target audience, and production needs, we identified potential partners and negotiated sponsorships.

Patrocínios

Com base nos objetivos do evento, no seu público-alvo e nas suas necessidades de produção, identificamos potenciais parceiros e negociámos patrocínios.
